What Is #NSAWednesdays?

You know that feeling in Nepal — when you hit the club on Friday nights, and it’s not just about the music or the venue? It’s about the community. You’re guaranteed to run into someone you know, shake 500+ hands, and there’s a special kind of energy that makes you feel like you belong. A place where you’re part of something bigger.

But here in Boston? It’s different.
- The Nepali community is more spread out.
- Friday plans tend to be more isolated — house parties, dinner with friends, or just quiet nights in.
- Nepali restaurants are often places to eat, not connect.

There’s no real central hub for Nepali professionals to gather, network, or just vibe together.

That’s where “NO Thirsty Thurdays, NO Happy Fridays”,but #NSAWednesdays come in.

Here’s what makes it different:
• A consistent place to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces
• Energy that’s welcoming and relaxed but not a party vibe (think of the ultimate career-oriented pregame)
• A space to network, bond, and build real community — because that’s what’s been missing.

NSAWednesdays is designed to be OUR spot — a midweek ritual for us to come together to recharge and grow. Whether you’re looking for new connections, career advice, or just a place to meet like-minded individuals, NSAWednesdays has got your back.

PS: (Coming back to this post)
Things have evolved since we started weekly events.
We’ve learned a lot — what works, what doesn’t, where we hit bottlenecks.
Check out our other blogs to see how we adapted.
