Executive Social Hosting Almost 70 Senior Nepali Professionals In Boston
Still processing tonight — our FIRST Executive Social co-hosted with Ashish Shrestha under NSA Boston. And somehow… nearly 70 people showed up.
But it wasn’t just the number — it was who showed up.
We had folks from:
Harvard, MIT, McKinsey, Amazon, Biogen, Broad Institute, Deloitte, Novartis, Vertex, DOJ/ATF, Insulet, Charles Schwab, Ernst & Young, Vistaprint, Thermo Fisher, Paytronix, Klaviyo, The Hackett Group, Alexion/AstraZeneca, CNH Industrial, HealthEdge — and more.
C-suites. Directors. Principal Engineers. Sr. Managers. Sr. Scientists. VCs. Restaurateurs. Consultants. Founders, and more.
The kind of people you don’t usually see in the same room — and definitely not all at once. HENCE,
After shadowing my uncle during the Nepathya concert in Boston and having long convos about what makes an event actually work — I walked into this with two things I really wanted to get right:
1. Starting exactly on time.
We said 6:15pm , and we actually started at 6:15pm.
That felt important. It was something I picked up from that concert — how much it matters to respect the people who show up on time.
2. Guest experience + overcommunication.
I didn’t want anyone to feel confused or unsure about anything — so I just over-communicated.
Multiple reminders with all the info: parking, venue details with a video, dress code, etc.
At the event, we had name tags ready, and check-in ran super smoothly with two people handling it. Felt like a proper welcome.
Now, there’s A LOT more I want to improve, but these were the first two things I was really intentional about — and I hope they landed.
To everyone who attended — THANK YOU!
You made this event what it was. I GENUINELY hope you enjoyed the space, the people, and the experience.
