What I Loved Most About Bentley University — From a Nepali Student’s Perspective

Let me be honest—these past four years at Bentley were the best years of my life. I know that might sound dramatic, but it’s exactly how I feel. This place gave me memories I’ll carry forever.

And the part I loved most? My friends.
The people I met here made everything better. Without them, my Bentley experience wouldn’t have been the same.

Events, Energy & Everyday Fun

One of the best things about Bentley is that something is always happening. I love going to events, and this campus never disappointed. Whether it was a concert, a cultural night, or a casual student hangout, there was always something to look forward to.

Finding My People Through Student Orgs

I joined two amazing student organizations that defined my social life at Bentley:

  • Momentum – Bentley’s hip hop dance group (I even became president!)

  • ISA (International Student Association) – where I also proudly served as president

Momentum was my dance family. I’ve always loved dancing, and being able to express that passion while bonding with such an energetic, creative group made me feel at home.
Performing at campus events with Momentum was the highlight of every semester.

With ISA, I got to lead and host big events. It was chaotic at times—but also incredibly fulfilling. There’s nothing like the adrenaline of planning something for weeks and then watching it come to life.

Unforgettable Moments

I made so many amazing memories, but a few moments stand out:

  • I performed a solo Bollywood dance at the same annual event every single year—four years in a row. That streak became a personal tradition I’m really proud of.

  • I also performed a Nepali dance during Diwali and felt proud to represent my culture on stage.

  • Spring Day concerts with Jack Harlow, Diplo, T-Pain, and DJ Mustard—yes, Bentley really did that!

  • The senior boat cruise was the perfect goodbye, surrounded by friends on the water.

Opportunities That Changed Me

Senior year, hands down, was my best year. I said yes to everything and it paid off. A few unforgettable opportunities I got through Bentley:

  • Went on a 10-day study abroad trip to Brazil

  • Got selected for Celtics Career Day, where I visited their headquarters, sat courtside, and even shook hands with Jaylen Brown (still not over it!)

  • Worked in Undergraduate Admissions for four years—my favorite job ever. I handled social media for the @bentleyadmission team and found a second family in that office. It was hard to say goodbye.

In the End…

Bentley gave me everything I didn’t know I needed—growth, friendship, confidence, and memories I’ll hold close forever.

If I could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing.
Not a single thing.
